  • Ask about allergens when you order: US food law names nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame), and kitchens can tell you which dishes contain them.
  • Restaurant inspection results are kept by the city or county health department; many publish them online or post the latest grade at the door.
  • For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

Honestly, this place has the potential to be much better if more attention was given to customer satisfaction and food quality. My friends and I ordered a boil on Mother’s Day, and unfortunately we were disappointed with the overall experience. We were hoping for a meal that felt worth celebrating the occasion, but it did not meet our expectations. Hopefully they take customer feedback into consideration and improve moving forward.

We had an amazing experience at The Boiling House this past Friday! Our entire party traveled over an hour to celebrate a birthday, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent. Our waitress (I hate that I can’t remember her name) was on point the entire time attentive, clear, and super pleasant. She made sure we had everything we needed, answered every question thoroughly, and even went the extra mile to accommodate special requests without hesitation. Now the food everything was GOOD. We ordered crab boils, bang bang shrimp tacos, seafood fried rice (x2), shrimp cocktail, garlic noodles, and lemon pepper wings (all flats, which was a win!). Nothing was too salty or overpowering, and no one had to send anything back. That alone says a lot. Everyone enjoyed their meal from start to finish. The atmosphere was a vibe too great music, great energy, and they made the birthday celebration feel special by coming out to sing. It was a night full of laughs, good food, and great service. For the quality and portion sizes, the pricing was very reasonable. Overall, I’d give this place a solid 8/10. We will definitely be back, and hopefully we get

An indulgent evening at The Boiling House proved to be nothing short of exceptional. I began with the Bang Bang Shrimp tacosβ€”perfectly crisp, delicately coated, and elevated by a balanced heat that lingered just enough to excite the palate without overwhelming it. For my entrΓ©e, I selected the seafood fried rice, opting instead for a substitution of garlic noodles. This thoughtful choice transformed the dish into a rich, savory experienceβ€”each bite layered with depth, infused with aromatic garlic, and complemented by an impressively generous portion of seafood. The abundance spoke volumes: no restraint, just pure culinary satisfaction. A dining experience that effortlessly blends bold flavor with indulgent comfort. Undeniably memorable and definitely will returning soon!

Atmosphere was casual but cool. Service was all so very good. The food was inconsistent. My crab boil was insanely salty and some of the items in the bag were cold. They did replace the mussels but couldn't do anything about the crab. However The king crab we ordered was delicious and not over seasoned. The garlic noodles were tasty. The spicy shrimp noodles were not spicy and the shrimp was overcooked but the sauce was decent. Maybe it was a off night, I would try again.

I am an avid seafood boil lover. I tried the Feast for 2 with dungeness crab, crawfish and shrimp with the hot spice level. It was spicy but had zero flavor! The garlic noodles didn't have fresh garlic and were nothing to write home about. The seafood rice was OK . I actually had to request drawn butter. In spite of the hefty bill I declined to take the remaining seafood boil home. We will not be returning. We will continue loving Ruby's in Wyncote, PA which has amazing flavor, spice if you want it, better service, better prices, an extensive menu, etc.
